How to Make the African Carbon Markets Initiative Work More Smoothly

I think everybody, it's very natural to look for others and say you need to do something differently. But as we've said from the beginning, this is an ecosystem and all the participants have to work together. We need to acknowledge that there is an element of capacity building and training and support, but also there's an element of accountability. From our perspective, again, integrity comes first, but that also does mean that we need to be thoughtful about how we enable more action on the ground. For us, it's about investing in staff to improve knowledge and expertise.
