Taiwan's Me to Moment: A Watershed Moment
Two years ago, the digital sexual violence cases erupted such as deep fake female celebrities and fabricated their porn films. We NGO legislators urged to revise the criminal law, civil law, so to curb this kind of violence. But back then, public,. not just public news media selectively pick the messages and advocate and pit against the cases of murder cases with this kind of gender violation cases. So I think this is the challenge or a resistance in Taiwan because we consume the cases without really trying to figure out the solution for those not just women, men who have experienced this kind of trauma. Now it's about the time we switch our attention to other cases. It's time to move on.
