Doing Large Projects Is Like a Muscle

The ability to do large projects well is like a muscle and in the west are muscles of atrophied so much that you want to do anything big. And it doesn't have to be this way. There are two, we are limited by vision. We don't have the will. It's much easier to just push the status quo and push it to the next guy who's going to be elected in four years and kick the can down the road. Maybe America is different because it's where all the risk takers came. I used to walk around New York City with my wife and point out things and I would say, this country used to be the greatest fucking country in the world
