Shiny Objects - Brands and People
i was attracted to what were shiny brands, but i don't think the brands that i worked for were super shiny. I wonder if sometimes managers and leaders could be shiny objects. So i have definitely chosen jobs because of who i was going to be working for. It feels a bit harsh to call those people are shining objects. But i have also had the experience of those people leaving or changing very quickly after going to work for them. They don't come with your job. And i think ive forgot that some of the time.
