The third noble truth is the truth of reducing craving, ending, eventually craving. How do you actually do that with a biology that has evolved over 600 million years in terms of the nervous system? That survives through being able to suffer, which generates craving and then survives through craving that leads to more suffering while also passing on genes. This is where the extraordinary usage of taking in the good comes in. To gradually cultivate such a profound sense of fullness and loved and lovingness that there's no natural basis for any craving or harm.
