Guy Fawkes - A History of High Treason

Guy Fawkes was born a Protestant, but converted to Catholicism as a teenager. He met fellow Englishmen who longed to rid Britain of its Protestant king. They invited him into their plot and he joined them in the Tower of London. But Guy was captured just in the nick of time after being unable to light the fuse. The punishment for high treason at that time involved being hung by your neck then cut into four pieces. Luckily Guido managed to throw himself off the platform before his death.
