People are willing to accept height as a genetic determined factor, but when we get over to intelligence general g many reject that. We can actually predict school achievement better with d and a from birth than we can from measures of quality of schools kids go to. It's not like i have a jen for potato chips that makes me eat my whole bag of chips inevitably. Hilarity or tragedy often ensue. But that's the way genetics work in this society. The battle of the bulge is a lifelong battle.
