Some sanctions should be permanent. We should stop making money out of oligarchs who had stolen the money from the russian people, that should be the new normal. The frees of ussian central bank reserves shouldn't be reversed either because sirou crane will have a very good claim for reparations if there is a cessation of hostilities. And the money that was going to be put in the war chest, it should be ukrane's a reconstruction fund. I could go on.

Radosław Sikorski is a Polish politician and journalist who is currently a Member of the European Parliament. He served as Defense Minister of Poland from 2005 to 2007, and as Foreign Minister from 2007 to 2014.
