My father served in the, served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He didn't talk about it all that much, but he certainly never, you know, kind of took his service seriously. My maternal grandfather was one of the few men who knew how to use the tank mounted flame throwers. And also, from my maternal great grandfather, who came back, shell shot, as they said back then, and was apparently just mentally and emotionally damaged for the rest of his life. There is a legacy that is felt to this day in my family, I know that.
