The Importance of Feeling Asian
I think feeling Asian are these experiences are kind of shaped by how you grew up. I had some friends who were Asian and many more that were like children of immigrants, but very few like Chinese people in my schools. So I had this weird experience of during the weekdays feeling out of place because I wasn't wide enough. And then on the weekends feeling a little out of place as well becauselike I wasn't quite Asian American enough. Even as recent as starting this podcast with you ladies, I feel like my relationship with my culture has shifted to become much more intimate.
