The Road Map Isn't the Best Solution

The business side of many organizations want a flex on anything, but that they cannot want all three. They want quality, speed and scope. And what you're really fighting against is that the sales organization are selling the road map very often. As soon as it hits a road map, as soon as is a hint of an idea, even if it's like next year, they will be talking about it. That's where things become then a problem.
