Cognitive behaviour therapy came out of work that started in the sixties and seventies. But what we would say is that the world, what we believe is we cognitively mediate. We make sense of the world through our thinking. And when people hold on to that, they are saying, ice, i i know my world, or understand as true my thinking. That is their understanding of all things that they come in contact with.
