Amazon has a $1.5 trillion market cap and they had like a five year run where they generated some cash. They know how to do one thing really, really, really well, which is reinvest every single dollar into growing. So either they need to continue operating the way that they have and continue finding more AWS's or at some point they need to realize, oh, there's the edge of the tam.

So, how DID an online book retailer end up building the infrastructure layer that powers the entire internet? (Or at least 39% of it, per latest market share data.)
