John is all kinds of whaky. But yes, looking at the other gospels, looking at this gospel, they're coming from the triangle side of the sea of galilee and going to the other side. And will give more details later in the chapter that doubles down on this. They are definitely on other side, and they are coming back across to copernaum now again, and this is going to be uncomfortable for some of us. I am much less concerned with what literally, historically happened. I am far more concerned with why in the world is john changing this?
