I Think It's a Failure of the Capitalist

The Sannevi Institute was founded in the late 1980s and really got going in the early 1990s. I, along with a lot of people at the time, were very naively optimistic that authoritarianism could never happen again. What I think of you and your collaborators is not holding on to the naive optimism that all these networks will make us wonderfully decentralized. It turns out that many of these networks are quite easily captured and weaponized by powerful central players. But trying to take the dynamical ability of modern technology including digital technology but seeing it as a way to harness the diversity of opinions that we have isn't bad either.
