How Alipay Helps Chinese Tourists Go International
Alipay has been helping Chinese tours go international for a long time. You can basically use Alipay to pay for stuff and it will just charge right back to your account in China. They're not making money on this in any egregious way like an ATM machine would do. There's very good security. When those tourists, when they go abroad to another country, Alipay Plus lets them get everything that a Chinese tourist might get in Paris. It's giving that cross-border payment capabilities and the cross-boarding marketing capabilities to a company like Gcash.
