GitHub Pages - What's It Like When You're Not Just Using Get Pages?

GitHub has lost its maintainer, so it currently has no maintainers. So that makes me sad. And maybe somebody here to maintain it. It could use a little love today on Valentine's Day, some maintainer love. I like Kim's comment saying, surely personal websites are supposed to be over engineered. But then I saw the bill.
