The Cosmological Argument

Pupils at Wells Cathedral School are being taught the cosmological argument. Different examples cover many different cosmological arguments as you mentioned. The example that my school follows covers Aquinas is third way for contingency and necessity. Jake Lyon from Wells Cathedral School asks, how can the cause who supposedly exists outside of time and space, and is an immaterial being cause the material universe to exist? Well I would say he does it by thinking. God as an immaterial mind beyond the world has the ability, I think to effect material causes are changes by thought. And John hick equally as a thinker that we cover in many exam boards here in the UK as well.
