How Does the Madisonian System Work?
When we look at what's called the formal powers, which is the constitutional powers of each of the branches in the realm of foreign policy, the judiciary kind of, again, stays in the background. So it's really the political branches that have the most powera this is specially true because what they're supposed to be doing is there spose to be fighting,. Theyre supposed to be saying, no, no, i want to control foreign policy. All right, let's work together and get something done. And so that's how the madisonian system is supposed to function.
