This week we take a step back to Guadalcanal specifically. This topic is arguably the most important aspect of the campaign for Guadal canal itself. A lot of people claimed that we should have had aircraft there the first day, but that's just not how it was laid out. The motley crew that flew from Henderson and later fighter one all compositely took the name of the island's bequeathed codename Cactus.
