The Importance of Disguise in Journalism
Mahmoud al-Husain started his journalism career as a freelancer in 1980. He went undercover to expose the son of a close family friend who was involved in an illegal video trade, which he wrote about. His Pakistani heritage would go on to help him slip into his trademark Middle Eastern shaped disguise without arousing too much suspicion.
