Microsoft Fixes Chrome's Default Browser
Microsoft hard coded this bug for Chrome specifically to make sure that people did not have an easy way to change their default browser which is a wonderful way of encouraging competition. Microsoft said that they will let you revert that behavior to use your default browser but this new one will still be the default. Now all these links will open accompanied by the original email in a sidebar in a sort of side by side view. They will also bring this change to Microsoft Teams to have your chat on a sidebar and the link in the main edge window.
