The Pros and Cons of Endurance Training for Root Climbers
The time that you have for doing endurance training is going to be reduced because you're having that focus on strength work. You may also see some increases in what I would maybe term as body stiffness or lack of fluidity when you're climbing. So certainly a little bit of a risk there in terms of doing a lot of strength work. High levels of endurance training and adaptation mean that you effectively need less strength to tick the project goal that you have.
