The Power of Science
The Milky Way has got about 100 billion stars in it. That's roughly the same as the number of neurons in your head. There used to be one used to say there are about 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe. I think that number is going up considerably with the new observations that are being made. Some of the pictures from the James Watt telescope come from within less than a billion years from the start of the universe, which was probably 13.8 billion years ago. As you look at these things, I don't know what evokes in you. I just feel, wow, this is absolutely amazing.
