The Movie Was Not as Satisfactory as It Could Have Been
"I definitely think they glossed over, you know, a lot of the parts of the character and the family that were like significant parts if it was like a normal person in real life. Family is usually a pretty important element in Asian lives," she said. "It just kind of felt at least for me that I was watching a white family where they just happened to be Asian or like they happened to look Asian."
