The World's First Clone of an Adult Mammal
The world's first clone of an adult mammal, Dolly the sheep, was cloned in 2007. No one has successfully cloned a human from an adult cell to date. People are harder to clone than sheep and other primates like monkeys. When she was six, Dolly got sick with a lung infection common among sheep and sadly passed on.
