V One v Two Co Existing in the Same Code Base?

If we forced everyone to up grade to the newest version, it would make up dates two tin ui pretty impossible. You might end up blocked on getting a small fix or improvement into the code base because you have to up date 20 uses of the modal component after theapi has changed. So essentially, why don't we just do it the other way, risk aversion. Or it may be risk mitigation, yet, unlike wanting to do things more intrumentally.
