Popular Front Politics

Popular front politics is the idea that different factions of a broad coalition should all unite in solidarity against a common enemy. This used to be a very main stream view on the american right, that popular front politics were a source of intellectual and moral corruption. The logic of the popular front was often a no enemies to my left, right sota the left. No one on the left should fight amongst ourselves. We have to have a a united phalanx against a the forces of evil to our right. And i have always ated popular front politics. That all fell apart, i should say, it all fell apart.
