Right now, there's no recourse for someone who hears a song that sounds like they sang it, but they didn't. And you have to be careful with how you word such laws because there are things like parody being protected by fair use. It's complicated not just on the tech side, but on the legislative side, the cultural side, military as well. I do think that Dr. Hinton has some legitimate concerns.
