Alister Crowley, a Ripe Timeye

Crowley's popularity and infamy sky rocketed during the 19 sixties in tandem with the counterculture movement. Crowley was also one of the first westerners to write about a number of eastern disciplines and practices, including tantra and hatha and raja yoga. To day, crowley's name is almost synonymous with satanism; his work wasn't really about worshipping the devil.
