Is There a Relationship Between Music Technology and Self Confidence?
When there are fewer girls, then you have what we call this leaky pipe line of girls. If they're the only girl or the only woman in space it's difficult to press against all those things. It is helpful to have environments where you can just relax and not have to worry about that. Same group environments are helpful but aren't always completely safe. Gracebanks produced a really lovely article on how studio environment can be welcoming or hostile for people who want to make music.
