Anthony Crudele, host of Futures Radio Show joins Cleo and me to share how he got into trading and podcasting, and the (mostly) positive impacts of them on his personal life. The conversation then shifts towards sustaining success and how it can be harder than attaining it initially. Anthony shares how the pressure to keep what you have and continue building on it can be overwhelming… External and internal pressures, such as expectations from others and the fear of losing what you've gained, make sustaining success difficult. Navigating this requires envisioning yourself as a successful trader, acting as if you are already successful, and seeking guidance from mentors or successful individuals. Anthony then talks about his growth as a trader and how he has learned to slow things down and be more patient. He shares how his relationship with trading has evolved and how he now sees it as a puzzle to solve rather than a constant chase for profits. Anthony Crudele is a seasoned Futures trader with 25+ years of experience. His journey began in 1995 as a runner at Lyn Waldock, marking the initiation of his experience in the financial markets. From there, he took on various roles, eventually becoming one of the youngest members on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), holding multiple seats and actively participating in the early stages of electronic trading. Crudele’s 23-year membership at the CME solidified his passion for the industry.

Beyond his trading career, Crudele has made a significant impact on the Futures industry as the founder of “Futures Radio Show” in 2014, the first Futures podcast. Over the past decade, the podcast has offered valuable insights through interviews with industry experts.

Crudele’s trading style evolved from scalping to a hybrid approach, emphasizing execution, market environment analysis, and knowing when to trade big, small or not at all.
