One who is centred in yoga sees this same radiant divinity everywhere. Servatra samadashana, not as a sentiment that everything is god. Sees with the eye of wisdom, not with these eyes. These eyes reveal difference. You are all different from me, different from each other. And sitting on the chair which is different from you, sentient insentient. The differences are revealed by these eyes. No sees, echate sees. That awareness makes possible the entire possibe,. the experience of what you call life.
The mind is very restless, turbulent, strong and obstinate, O Krishna. It appears to me that it is more difficult to control than the wind" - Bhagavad Gita (6.34)
"Lord Krishna said: O mighty-armed son of Kunti, what you say is correct; the mind is indeed very difficult to restrain. But by practice and detachment, it can be controlled" - Bhagavad Gita (6.35)
Inspired by these verses, Swami Sarvapriyananda provides invaluable guidance on improving our meditation.
