Regional Air Line Pilots

As the pilot's shortage becomes more and more of a reality, how much do the big network carriers use that opportunity at the major airline for the regional pilots as an incentive? There are flow through agreements at different levels with different partners right now, but i think that's an untapped resource. I believe that at some we may even see consolidation among some of the independent regionals,. largely driven by the need to sort of maybe have more leverage, both with the big partners, but also on the hiring standpoint.
