The Relationship Between Abstract Art and the Audience

"I have to ask anyone what they're, what they're intending to do there," says Aptregart. "When I look at abstract art, I just see, like, well, if I don't ask the artist what this is supposed to mean, I will never know." Poetry can be helpful because it's closer to words than other forms of expression such as prose and cantos. But in that note, you have to figure out what he's saying in a particular way because he thinks that's the best way. The poem itself has to express that; but I had to figure out, I had to kind of get used to it.
