The Importance of Relationships and Pastors in Other Churches

Alex: When we're in an elders meeting and a topic comes up I almost never will volunteer what I know. And if they're getting to roughly the same space I just don't say anything. Would you take that same posture if you're one of the lay elders there? Presumably you would. Why should pastor pursue relationships and pastors in other churches? What are the benefits to be gained?
