Is There a Nerve Sensitization in a Patient?
When you're looking at patients that are coming in and you mentioned there are a couple of really good examples of someone that's been cleaning the window. So are there any sort of within the subjective history anything that you'll often look out for to help to guide you towards understanding that there is some sort of nerve sensitization or compressive irritation going on? I think it can be difficult though. We did a study in a long time ago with Bob Elvey and we had 200 patients with chronic shoulder region pain and we examined them all for the presence of neural problems. But when we examined them, we found significant features of sensitization in some of them, not in all of them.
