The Kingdom of God Is Within You

Tolstoy in 1894 wrote a book called The Kingdom of God is Within You. There are times when a higher truth revealed at first to a few persons gradually gains ground until it takes hold of such a number of persons that the old public opinion founded on a lower order of truths begins to tauter. Men began to criticize their actions in the light of the new truth, but in the meantime, they continue to follow the principles that once represented the highest point of rational consciousness but are now in flagrant contradiction to it.
