We got another email in from Amanda who works with people who's ever mental illness and have issues with homelessness and poverty. She was saying that even though she works with poverty daily she I too don't know how to address poverty when I see it personally. Well a lot of times with that sort of stuff like you'll hear or you'll read one story about how somebody was faking it and you'll just be like well I don't know if he's faking it or not so I'm just gonna ignore all of them. Yeah it's just not helpful.
We're dipping back in the Victor Hugo well this week with his other best-known book The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Did you know that the book and the Disney movie don't end the same way?
Also on tap: road trips, games of tag, revisiting the poverty question from last week, and talking about Hugo's views on architecture vs. the printing press.
