Investors want their money back. They want to de-risk the investment, right? Once they get their money back and they've been paid their preferred rate, everything that happens from there on out is all upside for them. That's a much more fun place to be, because then it really is about growth. And so when I modeled, I ended up switching my modeling to be more of like a payout.
