Ticks and Tourette Disorder

Ticks are sudden movements or sounds that people do repeatedly, usually not within the person's conscious control. For example, motor ticks like blinking over and over, clearing your throat, repetitively making repetitive vocal sounds repetitively picking your skin or picking your hair.
