I served on the Treasury Barring Advisory Committee or T-BAC for eight years through August of 2022. I was Director of Global Economics with the DE Shaw Group and sat in the firm's discretionary macro team. It is an advisory committee that goes down to D.C. four times a year around quarterly refunding announcements. And it goes into essentially a 24-hour meeting or meeting period where it meets with the Treasury and has a lot of discussions about debt management decisions.
