The Importance of Editing in Comics
I really do try to bring my directing and filmmaking background, my editing experience to the page. The other thing that I feel is necessary to clarify is that we didn't make Kali to sell it as a movie. There are a lot of people in the comic space doing their work in an attempt to sell it to Hollywood. To me, that's an impure way of operating. comics is actually the promised land where you can actually have the freedom to tell any story you want,. That is the greatest gift for a creator.
