Closings - Patches That Were Memorable?

There's this idea that if you put together a patch, you may want to let it sit around for a while. And there's one that I'm remembering that I can think of that it involved doing proper type inference for the and and or macros. That one's memorable to me because it was a fairly complicated patch. You don't want to like jump the gun and push them into the corner.
