Acute Kidney Injuries in AIDS Patients in Brazil
Single high dose liposomal amptarous appeared safe and efficacious as induction therapy for disseminated histoplasmosis in patients living with HIV AIDS. The primary endpoint was clinical response on day 14, which they defined as resolution a fever and signs and symptoms attributable to histo. Secondary endpoints looked at day 14 mortality and something we're all very interested in: Renal function abnormalities. Overall, the conclusions from this trial looked actually pretty promising.
