Hiroshima Piece Museum

Cynthia kelly farraby visited hiroshima to visit the epicentre of the suffering my grandfa hehelped to cause. I interviewed survivors hibaksha who told me the story of that day. Their stories were all different, all harrowing. It is an act of courage for them to speak at all. After the war, they faced enormous prejudice based on fear of the health effects of radiation. Many kept their histories a secret. But i encountered incredible forgiveness and righteous anger. There needs to be room for both.
