Introduction

Dr. Mohammed Ghali is a professor of Islam and biomedical ethics at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Qatar. He's the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Islamic Ethics published by prestigious academic publisher Brill. In September 2019 he became the founding programme coordinator of the newly established MA programme in Applied Islamic Ethics at Hamad Bin Khaled University. And also Mohammed will say something about his organisations hosting the World Congress of Bioethics in Qatar which will be the first time in the Arab world and indeed the whole Middle East.
