I have some sympathy for your desire to put forward a positive vision but by the same token it does seem to me to be incumbent upon the Democrats to draw a line. I do think that one of the lines that should be drawn is with relationship to the notion of equity because equity is a very pathological idea and wherever it's been implemented around the world in the past it's caused nothing but may have. No matter what the crisis is you are not morally it is not morally acceptable for you to use fear and compulsion to put your policy platform forward.
