The Effects of Naltrexone on End Stage Liver Disease

There can be liver toxicity associated with naltrexone. The injectable form of the medication is even much lower, 380 milligrams a day a month. So we just don't, we don't really know. And I think it really is a case by case basis because if I have a patient in front of me who, you know, stop taking their medications for their cirrhosis because they return to drinking and if the benefits versus harm of trialingnaltrexone are different.
