The Importance of Landscape Archaeology
Landscape archaeology can be used to mean a lot of different things. Most places where there was some kind of settlement or site will have some vestiges of that on the surface. So part of the job of landscape archaeology is to document that through systematic survey and that's the type of work that I do a lot of in my field work.
